HELP AULIYA'S FIGHT FOR A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE!

In the blink of an eye, my daughter Farah Auliya transformed from a cheerful girl to someone who now lies bedridden. This all began on August 3rd, when Auliya had a fever and told me she didn’t feel well enough to go to school, so she stayed home to rest and was given medication. But at 2AM, she suddenly started shivering and her body became very hot.

We then rushed her to the clinic, but before she could be given any medication, Auliya began to ramble and vomited on the way. We immediately decided to take her to the hospital. In the car, she had multiple seizures. As soon as we arrived at the hospital, the doctor gave her anti-seizure medication.

Auliya then became very weak, unresponsive, and the only thing we could hear was her calling out “mama”. The doctor said that oxygen might not be reaching her brain and immediately placed her on an oxygen tube to help her breathe.  While waiting for the blood test results, Auliya suddenly had a severe seizure and was sedated after 7AM on August 4th.

Auliya was then admitted to the NICU, and the hospital administered IV IG medication to calm her muscles and nerves. After two days in the NICU, she was transferred to the PICU.

According to the doctor, Auliya was suspected of having Influenza A and ANEC, a rare and critical disease that attacks her brain.

Only 1% of patients with this disease recover. Hearing the doctor’s words, our hearts shattered. Auliya, who was once so active, loved reading, praying, and playing, was now bedridden, weak, and could no longer speak fluently.

The doctor also explained that there are three possible outcomes: Auliya might recover but her condition would not be the same, her condition might remain as it is, or she might recover but suddenly stop breathing.

Since her illness, Auliya’s medical expenses have been rising. Auliya’s dad income as a factory worker is barely enough to support our family. Therefore, we sincerely hope that kind-hearted people will come forward to help provide the best treatment for Auliya.

Your kindness can help brighten Auliya’s path to recovery—your support means the world to her. Let’s help Auliya!
