Young Quran Reciter's Life Threatened by Rare Blood Cancer
Fundraiser
Roni is Hasbie's Father

Hasbie (11), once known for his sweet voice reciting Quran verses, now suffers in pain. His dream of becoming a Hafidz is at risk due to a rare blood cancer, Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

11-year-old Hasbie’s fight is in jeopardy. His body, often plagued by fevers and significant weight loss, is now battling monstrous cells spreading through his bloodstream.

No longer in his classroom or at the playground, Hasbie spends most of his days in a hospital ward. His fragile body depends on medical machines after being diagnosed with blood cancer.

The situation worsened when he was identified with AML Leukemia (Acute Myeloid Leukemia), which damages five blood cell types in his body.

As a father, the thought of losing his son is unbearable. Determined not to let this fate take his child away, Mr. Roni works tirelessly day and night, waiting for passengers on the streets. He cannot register for online ride-hailing services because he sold his motorcycle to fund Hasbie’s treatment. Now, he borrows a motorcycle to work as a traditional motorcycle taxi driver, often earning very little due to a lack of passengers.

Every day, Hasbie is haunted by the monstrous cancer. His future is still long ahead, and he deserves a chance to recover. #KindPeople, let’s help Hasbie achieve healing and hope.
