Mak Ani, 60, has endured a lifetime of hardships. Abandoned by her husband, she now faces the agony of a tumor that has grown larger than her head.
Every day, she struggles to survive, often working as a laundry woman in exchange for rice—though even that is uncertain. With no stable income, she risks losing her home as well.
Mak Ani has been suffering from this tumor for six years without treatment. Despite the severe pain, she prioritizes survival over seeking medical care.
“I don’t think about treatment; I just need to eat every day,” she says, tears in her eyes. Now, she is at risk of homelessness, with no one to turn to for help.
We have been able to offer some support, but it is not enough. Mak Ani dreams of having a safe place to live and hopes to start a small business so she no longer has to work in pain. Your donation can make a real difference in her life, providing her with the medical treatment she desperately needs and offering her a chance at a better future.
Please, join us in supporting Mak Ani. Your contribution can help alleviate her suffering and offer her a glimmer of hope.

Dear Kind Donors,
This assistance program is designed to help beneficiaries purchase homes and guide them through the renovation process to make sure the homes are livable.
The home search was done by considering strategic locations and access to public facilities. After completing the necessary paperwork, the selected home has officially been transferred to the beneficiary and is now ready for renovation based on their needs.
We have also started the home renovation, focusing on fixing the leaking roof, strengthening the building’s structure, and repainting to improve comfort. The renovation is currently 50% complete and is expected to finish within 1-2 months.
Ongoing monitoring is being done to ensure the renovation stays on track and provides the best results for the beneficiary.
In addition to the housing program, we are also paying attention to Mak Ani’s health.
Based on the latest medical consultation, the doctor recommended not to go ahead with the planned surgery due to high risks. Instead, Mak Ani is now receiving regular treatment, including therapy and medication as prescribed by the doctor, to maintain her health.
Overall, this assistance program has achieved several important milestones, including the completion of the home purchase process and significant progress in the renovation.
Ongoing support for Mak Ani’s health condition is also being provided to ensure her medical needs are met. With continuous monitoring, it is hoped that the beneficiaries will soon be able to move into a more suitable home and enjoy a more comfortable life.
Thank you, Kind Donors.
