“Lord, today I will sell again. Please ease my way, Lord, so my dog and I can eat today,” whispers 79-year-old Akong Kwee Sun Tung.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Despite suffering from a stroke, Akong Kwee continues to face the harsh streets of Pantura. Whether it’s rain or scorching sun, he goes out every day to sell snacks, with no other choice but to struggle for every meal.
Akong and his dog rely on whatever he can earn each day. He must pay rent for his tiny room, or else he will have to sleep on the sidewalk.
Unfortunately, his sales are often not enough to cover his needs. His snacks rarely sell out, and most days, he can only afford to eat rice and salt to save money for rent. Even his dog eats only leftover dry rice.
These are the harsh realities Akong faces in his old age. Let’s help him ease his burden by offering our support.
