Ama Sia Lie Tjoe, a 73-year-old woman, has been living in constant pain for over a year. After a motorbike accident on her way home from church, she has been unable to properly sit, stand, or walk due to severe hip pain. The accident left her with an injury that may be a broken bone, but she cannot afford medical treatment to find out. The driver who hit her paid for some initial treatment, but when they disappeared, Ama was left with no help.

Her only means of income now is selling rice aid she receives, just to buy food or pay for her rent, which she hasn’t been able to pay for a year.
