“I walk 5 km to sell my chickens. Sometimes it goes up to 15 km because they are unsold. I’ve tried trading them for rice at stores, but they usually refuse. Some even think I’m joking. And all this while I’m already tired and hungry…” Grandpa Daud said sadly.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Grandpa Daud, now 80 years old, struggles to survive by selling his chickens. Every day, he walks 5 km in search of buyers. His aging body forces him to use a cane for support.
He usually keeps walking until his chickens are sold, but if he becomes too exhausted, he tries to trade the chickens for rice at nearby stores. Unfortunately, many stores reject his offer, and some even think he’s joking.
Grandpa lives alone since his wife has passed away. His children have moved away and cannot provide much help due to their own financial struggles.
There are still so many elderly people out there who have to fight just to survive like this. Let’s extend our hands and show our care for Grandpa Daud.
