Afrilio’s father became paralyzed after falling from a height of 7 meters, breaking 8 bones in his tailbone, all while he was working to pick coconuts.
Afrilio had to drop out of school because they couldn’t afford the fees. To survive, Afrilio and his mother sell jackfruit around the neighborhood.
But Afrilio’s spirit hasn’t faded. He’s determined to help his mother while earning money for his school fees.
He sells after school, and if he sells everything, he can earn around $3. He has to stay up late to sell everything.
Although Afrilio is back in school, he is still at risk of dropping out if there’s no money. He also wants his younger siblings to go to school. His heart is truly noble.
