Ama Oen Hwa is living in the house her parents left to her older sister. She opened a small shop using her late husband’s savings.

Unfortunately, with limited capital, her merchandise was equally limited. Not many people even knew that there was a shop in her house. All this time, Oma relied solely on her husband’s income, and this was the first time she tried to earn her own.

The shop has been empty for over a year, with no buyers. The merchandise is almost gone. Now, Ama Oen Hwa is struggling to survive, eating just a little rice without any side dishes.

The difficult conditions have also made her fragile body more susceptible to illness. Oma Oen Hwa suffers from severe headaches and near fainting episodes. But she refuses to seek treatment due to a lack of funds and the trauma of her husband passing away in the hospital after a brain hemorrhage.
