Meet Mr. Giat, a determined man with disabilities who never stops helping others. Twelve years ago, an accident left him completely paralyzed from the waist down, but he never blamed God.
Instead, he dedicated his life to repairing three-wheeled motorcycles for people with disabilities and fixing wheelchairs.
“People like me use special three-wheeled motorcycles, but there aren’t many workshops that can service them,” he said sincerely.
Despite his small earnings, Mr. Giat remains grateful. “Sometimes I struggle financially, but I just keep going and do my best,” he added.
Mr. Giat is a true example of someone who doesn’t just fight for himself but also for others who face the same struggles.
Whenever he sees fellow disabled friends struggling because their motorcycles or wheelchairs are broken, his heart moves him to help. However, without enough funds, he can only do so much. If only he had a bigger workshop, he could help even more people.
At home, Mr. Giat is also a hero and inspiration to his two children, who are now in middle school.
Even in hardship, he always prioritizes his family—often choosing to fast so that his children have enough to eat.
#KindHearts, let’s help Mr. Giat build a bigger workshop for disabled-friendly motorcycles and wheelchairs. Your support won’t just help Mr. Giat and his family—it will also change the lives of many other people with disabilities!
