Deep in a secluded forest, far from the nearest village, lives an 85-year-old woman known as Grandma Tersia. For over a decade, she has lived in darkness—completely blind for the past 12 years. Her husband passed away ten years ago, leaving her in heartbreaking solitude. Though she once raised three adopted children, they have now moved away, and she is left to rely on occasional help from kind neighbors.

Every day is a struggle for Grandma Tersia. Her worn-out clothes and empty food supplies reflect the hardships she endures. With tears in her eyes, she told us, “Today, I have no food. The rice is gone, so I only drink coffee. At night, I drink coffee and go to sleep.” Her voice trembles as she shares her pain, “I have no children of my own, and now I am blind… Life is so difficult.”

Despite her loneliness and hardships, Grandma Tersia holds onto faith and hope. “I pray to God: if He would grant me the chance to see again,” she says longingly.

Her story is a testament to resilience and patience in the face of immense challenges. In her twilight years, she deserves a life filled with care and comfort.
