Clarezhio “Clay” Ellohim Lengkong is a bright 14-year-old boy from Mobuya, North Sulawesi. A 9th-grade student with dreams like any other teenager, Clay lived a quiet life with his mother, little brother, and father, who works far away as a laborer in Papua.

But a normal day turned into a nightmare.

Clay was resting at home after walking with a friend—someone he trusted. Out of nowhere, that friend attacked him, striking his head with a heavy wooden object. Clay suffered a fractured skull and internal bleeding in the brain. He collapsed unconscious, alone and helpless.

By the time his family found him, it was almost too late. They rushed him to the nearest hospital, where doctors quickly referred him to a larger facility for urgent brain surgery. Clay underwent emergency surgery to stop the bleeding and repair the damage. Now, he remains in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), still unconscious. His condition is critical.

His family is heartbroken. His mother, Fricilia, hasn’t left his side. His father, Alex, has stopped working due to illness. Their savings have run dry, and medical costs have already exceeded $6,000—far beyond what they can afford.

This tragedy has shattered a young boy’s life and left his family struggling to keep hope alive. Clay didn’t deserve this. But he still has a chance—if we act now.
