He boarded a bus with Eza in his arms, whispering prayers as his son’s condition worsened — constant nosebleeds, fever, and losing consciousness. Once off the bus, Mr. Lyod carried Eza through the streets, desperate to reach the hospital in time.
By the time they arrived, Eza was in critical condition and had to be placed in the ICU.
