Fahru’s Tiny Body Suffers from Heart Defect, Lung Infection, and More
Fundraiser
Enjun Junenti is Fahrul's mother

Little Fahrul’s days are filled with pain. Bloody bowel movements have become a torturous routine, and his stomach is swollen with a lump the size of a clenched fist.

Down Syndrome, a 2mm heart defect, lung infection, and a large intestine disorder (Hirschsprung’s disease) are ravaging his small body. Even before birth, Fahrul had to come to terms with hardship. His father, who should have been joyfully awaiting his arrival, tragically passed away in a fatal accident. His parents were also survivors of the 2018 Pandeglang tsunami.

Mrs. Enjun, having lost her soulmate, could only cradle her growing belly with grief. Her baby, Fahrul, came into this world without a cry, without movement — only with a bluish, fragile body.

In the operating room, tiny Fahrul lay silently. There was no first cry, only a faint heartbeat. He clung to life in the NICU, but mounting hospital bills forced his early discharge while he was still critically weak.

Six uncertain months passed. Only then was Mrs. Enjun able to scrape together enough funds for medical treatment. But the doctor’s diagnosis hit like a bolt of lightning: Down Syndrome, a 2mm heart defect, lung infection, and Hirschsprung’s disease.

Thus began their long, grueling journey. Mrs. Enjun has since been seeking help for Fahrul’s treatment, even starting a fundraiser. Many of Fahrul’s medical needs are still not covered by health insurance. Through this fundraiser, Mrs. Enjun hopes more people will pray for Fahrul’s healing and support his recovery.

#KindHearts, hope is what keeps Fahrul and his mother fighting.
Let’s pray for and support Fahrul together!
