Imagine the heartbreak of a single mother who must watch her child fight a life-threatening illness. Gostiri is one such mother, and her world was turned upside down when her young son, Rishikesh, was diagnosed with cancer.

Since then, her days have been filled with hospital visits and chemotherapy sessions that have left her once-active little boy weak and weary. Like any mother, Gostiri dreams of seeing her child grow up healthy and happy – just like other children his age. But cancer has stolen much of Rishikesh’s childhood, confining him to hospital beds instead of playgrounds.

Gostiri refuses to give up. But she simply cannot shoulder the rising medical costs on her own. The treatment expenses have already reached tens of thousands of ringgit. Today, Gostiri and Rishikesh need our help.

My Story – Gostiri’s Appeal

Greetings, my name is Gostiri, and I’m a single mother fighting for my son’s life.

In December 2023, our lives changed forever when my beloved son, Rishikesh, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) – a severe and aggressive form of blood cancer.

Since then, Rishikesh has undergone numerous medical procedures and chemotherapy treatments. The journey has been incredibly tough on his small body and spirit, but he continues to fight with courage.

Unfortunately, the cost of his ongoing care – including specialized treatment, medication, and hospital stays – is far beyond what I can afford with my limited income.

That’s why I’m turning to the kindness of strangers through this Kitafund campaign. I humbly ask for your support to help save my son’s life.
