“Dear Jesus, my Dad needs emergency surgery… His lung was torn after being attacked by a stranger… Lord, please send a miracle for Dad… So he can come home healthy and be with us again…”

It’s been a week filled with sorrow, longing, and pain for Christy and her only son, Immanoel. Her husband is in urgent need of emergency surgery after being attacked by an unknown person, which left his lung badly torn. If the surgery isn’t done right away and treatment is interrupted, his life could be in danger. With hospital bills reaching tens of millions of rupiah, Christy has no means to cover the cost. All she can do is pray for a miracle from Lord Jesus.

That night, Migel and his wife had attended a gathering at a church friend’s home. They decided to leave early, they didn’t want to stay out too long because their young son was being looked after. 

Tragically, as they were on their way home, Migel was suddenly attacked by a stranger. The attacker fled the scene but was eventually caught and reported. Other church members rushed to help as Migel began to lose consciousness. He was rushed to the nearest hospital in critical condition.

By the time they arrived at the ER, Migel was already unconscious. Medical examinations revealed a deep wound that had torn into his lung, leaving this vital organ no longer functioning.

Intensive care alone isn’t enough, emergency surgery must happen immediately for Migel to survive. Sadly, the cost of treatment has now reached hundreds of millions of rupiah. It’s far beyond what the family can afford.

“Mom, when will Dad get better? I want to pray to Jesus… I want to ask Him to save Dad, so he can come home soon. Then I can go to church with him again…”

Immanoel’s prayers continue to rise, hoping that his father will be healed. Meanwhile, Christy is struggling alone, caring for her critically ill husband and their child, all while drowning in medical expenses. In their humble home, there is nothing left to sell to help pay for life-saving treatment.
