Vegetable Vendor's Desperate Prayer: Daud, 1 Month Old, Fights Permanent Paralysis
Fundraiser
Janter Rihie is Daud's father

With eyes closed and hands clenched, Mr. Janter and Mrs. Sandra pray earnestly to Lord Jesus for their youngest son, Daud. He lies helpless in his mother’s arms, unable to move. Daud suffers from cerebral palsy and severe malnutrition. Doctors said he needs intensive care at a major hospital—but with Mr. Janter earning only $2 a day as a vegetable seller, healing seems impossible without a miracle…

Daud’s parents hold on to their faith in the Lord. They believe that through His healing stripes, Jesus can restore their son.

Since falling ill, Daud has never left his mother’s arms. Mrs. Sandra now works while carrying him, as there’s no one else to care for him.

At birth, Daud was a healthy baby. But just days later, he developed a high fever and struggled to breathe. By the time he was a month old, he had suffered repeated seizures and became unresponsive.

They managed to get him treated for a week, but were forced to bring him home due to lack of money. Now, Daud urgently needs expensive intensive care and therapy to prevent permanent paralysis.

Mr. Janter and Mrs. Sandra are overwhelmed. Selling vegetables and pounding rice earns them just enough for daily food—how can they possibly afford Daud’s treatment?

Still, they hold onto faith that God will make a way.

#KindSouls, will you be God’s extended hand in bringing healing to Daud? Every help matters.
