Gombak's Hidden Struggle: Poor Families Can't Afford School for Their Children
Fundraiser
Pertubuhan Kebajikan Amal Jariyah Nur Hidayah Selangor is a non government organization who help people in need

In the low-income housing area of Batu Muda, Gombak, Malaysia, many children face an uphill battle just to attend school. Among them is Aiman, a bright ninth-grade student who dreams of becoming an engineer. Despite his determination, poverty often forces him to skip school—not out of laziness, but because he’s ashamed of wearing worn-out uniforms and having no basic school supplies.

Aiman’s story is not unique. Thirteen other students from the same community share similar struggles—each holding onto hope, but weighed down by financial hardship. Their families work hard to put food on the table, but the cost of education remains out of reach.

To help change this, a School Aid Program has been launched to provide essential supplies like school uniforms, shoes, stationery, and notebooks to students who need them most.

But the impact goes beyond materials. The program also aims to combat educational inequality, strengthen character through motivational activities, and build a stronger, more connected community.

Every contribution, no matter the size, has the power to change a child’s future. With your support, we can give these children not just the tools to learn—but the confidence to dream.

Your help today is a gift of hope for their tomorrow.
