Former Lorry Driver Paralyzed by Stroke, Battling Cancer and Diabetes Complications
Fundraiser
Pertubuhan Amal dan Sukarelawan Anak Kedah is a non government organization who help people in need

Muhamad Nurasid was once the pillar of his family. As a lorry driver, he worked tirelessly to support his wife and three children. But in 2018, a sudden stroke changed everything.

He collapsed at home. Doctors discovered bleeding in his brain, caused by uncontrolled diabetes and high blood pressure. Despite days of treatment and therapy, his condition only declined.

Today, Nurasid is fully bedridden. He has lost control of the left side of his body and suffers frequent seizures, fevers, and constant pain. Simple tasks — eating, moving, or going to the toilet — now require full assistance.

His battle didn’t end there. A severe infection led to brain surgery. Part of his toe had to be amputated due to complications from diabetes. The man who once carried the weight of his household is now entirely dependent.

His wife had to quit her job to care for him full-time. With no steady income, the family is struggling to cover medical needs: an electric wheelchair, adult diapers, nutritional milk, and hospital transportation are all out of reach.

One of their children even left their job to help care for their father. The burden is growing heavier each day, and now his wife is falling ill from exhaustion.

They’re trying their best — but they cannot do this alone.

Dear #KindSouls, your support could help continue his treatment and ease their daily hardship. Even the smallest contribution can bring relief to this family and hope to a father who’s still fighting.
