105-Year-Old Grandma Struggles to Survive Alone in a Broken Hut
Fundraiser
Rumah Yatim is a non government organization who help people in need.

At 105 years old, Grandma Sakdiah still works every single day just to survive.
Her husband passed away, she has no children, and no one to depend on.

“If I don’t work, who will feed me? No one cares about me. My husband is gone, I have no children,”
said Grandma Sakdiah, trembling but determined.

Every morning, she walks through her small village collecting firewood under the scorching sun. Her back is bent, her legs hurt, but she never stops. Because if she doesn’t work, she doesn’t eat.

Her tiny wooden hut barely stands—it leaks whenever it rains. There’s no electricity, no real bed, only a thin mat on the floor where she lies down to rest her tired body. Still, she’s grateful she has a place to sleep.

Even when she has nothing, Grandma Sakdiah’s faith never fades.

“I have Allah. I have no one else, but Allah always protects me,” she says softly.

Her story is one of thousands—elders left alone, forgotten, yet still fighting to live with dignity.
She doesn’t ask for much—just a meal to keep her going through another day.

Let’s help Grandma Sakdiah live her final years in peace.
