At just 16 years old, Ridho carries a responsibility far greater than most adults. Every day after school, he carries his 6-year-old sister, Salsa, who was born with multiple serious conditions including cerebral palsy, scoliosis, hernia, tumor, and epilepsy.

Salsa cannot walk, talk, or even sit on her own. Her body stiffens without warning, and seizures can strike at any moment. Ridho is her only caregiver, her brother, protector, and best friend all in one.

After school, Ridho pushes a small cart through the streets, selling coffee to earn a few dollars. On good days, he makes only a little, but it is never enough. Each month, Salsa needs at least $40 for her medications to ease her muscle stiffness and control her seizures, a cost Ridho has never been able to fully cover.

Once, when Ridho left for just a moment to buy water, Salsa had a seizure so severe that her lips turned blue. Since that day, he has never left her side.

“I’m all she has. If I don’t take care of her, who will?” he says softly. But Ridho cannot fight this battle alone. Salsa’s condition is getting worse, and they need help before it is too late.
