After a tragic accident that took both of his legs, Pak Rosidi’s life changed completely. At the moment he needed support the most, his wife left him — taking their children along, who had no understanding of what was happening.
Still recovering, Pak Rosidi was crushed watching his entire life fall apart. But he forced himself to rise again, determined not to be a burden to anyone around him.
Every morning, with whatever strength he has left, he drags his body across the hot pavement just to sell bottled water. His hands tremble from supporting his weight, yet he still manages a smile each time he offers his small goods.
His income is barely anything — some days he sells, some days he earns nothing at all. At night, he returns home with scraped knees, a hurting body, and an empty stomach since morning.
Sadly, the wounds on his amputated legs never truly heal because they constantly rub against the asphalt. He urgently needs medical treatment, a proper place to live, and a little capital so he can run a safer, more stable business.
