Since she was just five days old, Ralin’s tiny body has been covered in open wounds and fresh blood. She now needs urgent surgery.

“Forgive me, my child. Every time you cry in pain, I can only sit beside you and cry. If I could, I would take your place,” says Syamsinar, Ralin’s mother.

For three years, Ralin has endured constant pain. From the moment she was born, her fragile skin began peeling, revealing raw flesh all over her body. Her wounds often blister and bleed, making even the gentlest touch unbearable. Her mother has tried everything she could. She cleaned Ralin’s wounds with IV fluids, applied ointments, and brought her to multiple hospitals, but the costs quickly became overwhelming. Her father works as a motorbike driver while her mother also drives to earn extra income.

What should have been a joyful start to life turned into continuous suffering. Doctors eventually diagnosed Ralin with Acquired Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare condition that leaves the skin fragile and prone to injury. Any contact with her skin causes bleeding, making daily life extremely painful.

Now, Ralin’s only chance for relief is urgent surgery and intensive care. Her family cannot cover the costs, as their small daily income is barely enough to meet basic needs.
