Living in a fragile shack, this elderly couple endures hunger and cold every day. Despite his age, Grandpa Ujang continues to work hard to earn a living while caring for his sick wife.
At 80 years old, Grandpa Ujang and his 72-year-old wife, Grandma Ainah, live with countless hardships in their old age. To survive, Grandpa collects scrap materials and sells them, earning only around $1 after three days of work — barely enough to buy food for a day.
Life has become even harder since Grandma fell seriously ill. Her body is weak, she can no longer get out of bed, and even eating has become difficult — she now survives only on liquid or cereal meals.
With no children to care for them, the couple lives alone in their small, leaky home that floods whenever it rains heavily. Yet, Grandpa remains devoted, staying up late to care for his wife and comforting her with love despite their struggles.
