For the past two years, little Althaf’s life has been filled with pain and suffering. Once a healthy baby, Althaf is now blind, paralyzed on half of his body, and experiences violent seizures almost every day. His tiny body has faced multiple life-threatening episodes—each time, his parents fearing they would lose him.

It all began in May 2023, when Althaf developed a high fever that wouldn’t go away for nearly three weeks. Medications didn’t work. Then one day, Althaf’s body began convulsing uncontrollably. He was rushed to the hospital—only for his parents to be hit with devastating news: Althaf was suffering from severe brain damage.

Since then, Althaf has been in and out of critical condition. He is now completely dependent on long-term care and must undergo surgery and intensive treatments to stay alive.

His father, Munawir, works tirelessly as a manual laborer—often taking on double shifts just to survive. But despite his efforts, the mounting medical bills, now reaching into the tens of thousands of dollars, are far beyond his reach.

They have exhausted every option.
