Raising two children with Cerebral Palsy alone is no easy task — especially as they grow older and harder to manage without help.

This is Auni and Aufa. When the twins were born, complications during delivery caused oxygen to be cut off from their brains, stunting their mental and physical growth. Now, 13 years later, their condition remains the same.

Auni and Aufa often suffer from fevers, and even worse, they experience frequent seizures. They are bedridden, unable to walk, talk, or function like other children. They cannot care for themselves, and their mother is their only source of support. Their father has passed away, leaving their mother to raise them alone with all the strength she has left.

The twins suffer from nerve problems and constant body aches from lying down for too long. They also have difficulty passing stools. As they grow heavier, it becomes harder for their mother to care for them on her own.

Still, she accepts this fate, no matter how painful it is. Though grieving her late husband, she chooses to stay strong for her children. She has to hire a home nurse to help care for Auni and Aufa. But the service is costly — and she has no choice. She once tried sending them to a caregiver, but no one was willing to take on two severely disabled children.

Now, Auni and Aufa urgently need public help to cover their growing expenses. They still require regular hospital check-ups, as well as medical treatment whenever complications arise.
