Baby Aisyah Hadiroh Elmeira came into this world far too soon. Weighing just 1 kg and measuring only 30 cm. Her fragile body was rushed into an incubator, but the battle for her life had only just begun. Soon after, doctors discovered severe nerve damage in both of her eyes. She was diagnosed with Background Retinopathy — a condition that, without urgent treatment, could rob her of sight forever.

Since then, Aisyah’s short life has been filled with hospital visits, therapy sessions, and endless medical struggles. She is not yet 2 years old, yet she has already endured more pain than most of us could imagine. Her mother, Aminatul, shares in tears, “We often endure hunger just so Aisyah can continue her treatment.”

To save on costs, Aminatul often sleeps in the hospital parking lot while her daughter undergoes treatment. With no money for accommodation and barely enough for food, every sacrifice she makes is for Aisyah’s chance at recovery.

The financial burden has become overwhelming, but Aminatul refuses to give up hope. She dreams of the day her little girl can open her eyes and finally see the world’s beauty with healthy vision.
