Three-year-old El Fatir is now fighting for his life — his tiny body covered in medical tubes, trembling from constant seizures 

He’s been diagnosed with tetanus, a life-threatening infection that has attacked his nervous system. Without round-the-clock medical care and life support machines, his organs could fail at any time.

That night when the seizures hit, El Fatir’s body shook uncontrollably. His parents rushed him to the hospital, only to hear the most painful words — “Your son is in a coma.”

Since then, he’s been in the ICU, completely dependent on machines to breathe. Doctors had to perform surgery on his throat so he could use a ventilator. Every second the machines stop, El Fatir’s life is at risk.

But his father, who works tirelessly for a daily wage far below the minimum, can’t afford the hundreds of millions needed for his son’s treatment 

El Fatir was once a cheerful little boy who brought warmth and laughter to his small home. Now, every corner of that house feels empty without him. His family’s only wish is simple — to see his smile again.
