Imagine, at only 6 years old, Fahmi has to endure pain that even adults would struggle to bear. It started as just a small lump near his right eye. But in a short time, it grew larger and more severe.

Fahmi’s parents panicked. They rushed him to a local clinic, then he was referred to a regional hospital in Madura. But after several treatments, instead of getting better, Fahmi’s condition only worsened.

The mounting hospital bills became unbearable, and his parents could no longer afford to continue. With shattered hearts, they were forced to bring Fahmi home, even though his illness remained untreated.

They traveled a long distance by motorcycle, unable to afford an ambulance. Along the way, Fahmi vomited blood and nearly lost consciousness. Now in Surabaya, Fahmi must undergo regular chemotherapy and outpatient treatment. All of this requires a huge amount of money, far beyond the reach of his father, who works only as a garbage collector. His hard labor can’t even provide enough for daily meals, let alone the overwhelming hospital costs.
