Her illness began in 2018, when a small lump appeared on her nose. After medical examination, doctors diagnosed her with carcinoma cancer that required immediate surgery. Although surgery was done, the cancer never truly went away.
By 2021, the cancer had spread and destroyed the bones in her nose. Since then, her facial wounds have constantly bled. Running out of money, Grandma Mina could no longer afford chemotherapy or any further treatment.
Now, in 2025, her nose is completely gone. Breathing has become difficult, her eyes are affected, and she can no longer carry out daily activities. She spends her days praying, hoping God will grant her more time — and a chance to heal.
Thankfully, her children still care for her with love and patience — changing her bandages and wiping the blood that continuously flows. But their economic situation is just as difficult, making it impossible to afford proper medical care.
The family lives very modestly. Her son works as a local pastor with a minimal income. Every day, they tend to her wounds, even though they can barely afford medical supplies. Grandma Mina once tried to help by selling nuts, but now she’s far too weak.
They can only take her to the small local clinic, which provides little help for her severe condition. She has never been able to go to the city hospital for surgery or therapy due to financial hardship.
