Ade Selling Snacks With an Enlarged Abdomen and Oxygen Tube: Urgent Need for Medical Intervention
Fundraiser

Since being diagnosed with heart and liver disorders, Mr. Ade’s condition has worsened day by day. His stomach is swelling due to fluid buildup, causing weakness and pain. Yet, he refuses to give up—he still goes out daily selling snacks, carrying a borrowed oxygen tank, just to afford his medical treatments.

Mr. Ade must undergo fluid drainage at least once every three weeks. If delayed, the fluids can seriously damage his organs or even endanger his life. Unfortunately, his health insurance doesn’t cover all the required procedures, and he often misses treatments due to a lack of funds.

From a full day of selling, he earns only around $2–$3. Most of it is spent on restocking snacks. The little that’s left goes toward food and saving up for medical expenses. Traveling to the hospital alone can drain a week’s income….

Sometimes, he pushes his weak body too far and collapses from exhaustion. When that happens, his wife, Mrs. Imas, takes over—working double as a laundry worker and snack vendor. “He always insists on working,” she says. “He believes it’s a husband’s duty, as long as he can still walk and breathe.”

Kind souls, let’s not wait until it’s too late. Help Mr. Ade continue his treatment and fight for a second chance at life. Your support can make all the difference.
