Aira’s battle against a rare blood cancer is far from over. For almost a year, this brave little girl has been battling a rare blood cancer. Her belly is swollen, and she suffers from constant bleeding, making the hospital her only home. 

To make matters worse, her father abandoned her and her mother after a violent outburst. Aira’s mother, Desi, is a daily maid, struggling to make ends meet and cover the exorbitant hospital bills.

Mrs. Desi’s world shattered when she learned that her only child had been diagnosed with advanced-stage blood cancer, at just 3 years old. The diagnosis came after nearly a year of treatments and tests, making it difficult to provide timely care.

At first, Aira just had a regular fever. What began as a regular fever took a turn for the worse, with Aira’s abdomen swelling rapidly.  What started as routine treatment soon turned into something more serious. 

After countless tests and hospital stays, the devastating diagnosis of aggressive blood cancer was confirmed. Aira now relies on regular chemotherapy and blood transfusions to survive.

The financial burden has become unbearable for Mrs. Desi and Aira. Aira’s father has abandoned them, leaving her mother to support them both as a daily maid. The medical bills are astronomical, far exceeding her meager earnings.
