While other families are busy preparing for Chinese New Year, my children are burdened by my condition, as I suffer from a stroke.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! In recent years, Akong Lin Fui has been struck by a stroke that has paralyzed his nerves one by one. Now, he can no longer move his hands or feet to do the activities he used to do, like being a carpenter, and is left just sitting in a wheelchair.
Akong feels sad when he sees his children taking care of him, all while dealing with their own struggles in life. He has not been able to go to the hospital for a check-up because it’s far and the cost of medicine is high.
It’s not uncommon for Akong to cry because of his condition. He wants to recover so he won’t be a burden to his children, but there’s little he can do except be cared for at home as much as possible.
Akong and his family never stop praying to Buddha, hoping that this year, blessings and good fortune will flow to them. He also hopes for recovery, though it seems unlikely without help.
Dear friends, Akong Lin Fui needs long-term medical treatment and routine check-ups to recover from the stroke. This will require significant funds. Let’s show our kindness and donate to help Akong.
