At the age of 74, Akong Tan continues to struggle to make a living. Every day, he peddles around selling second-hand books and calendars on his old bicycle, covering a distance of 15 kilometers to offer his goods.

Unfortunately, his items frequently remain unsold. Despite enduring chest tightness from 40 years of asthma, he persists in selling. Every 3 kilometers of pedaling, he must stop due to the pain in his chest.
Even though he was sick, Akong never gave up on life. Especially now, with his wife also bedridden and in poor health. Ama Tjie, aged 70, finds it hard to move her body and relies on Akong even to feed herself.
Akong and Ama have almost no hope left due to their illnesses. Yet, they continue to place their full trust in God, hoping for help from compassionate souls out there.
