Little Muhammad Aqra Rizki should be learning to ride a bicycle, not learning how to fight cancer.

Just a few months ago, Aqra was a cheerful 4-year-old who loved to play. But when he began experiencing recurring fevers and constant leg pain, his parents knew something was wrong. After countless hospital visits and painful tests, their worst fear became reality — Aqra was diagnosed with cancer in early December 2024.

Since then, his world has been filled with tubes, injections, and hospital walls. His once energetic body is now frail. His belly has swollen due to an enlarged liver and spleen, his weight has dropped drastically, and his blood levels continue to fall. He has tumors behind his nose and above his kidney, and he lives with pain no child should ever know.

Aqra is now undergoing intense chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. He’s already had surgery to biopsy the tumor near his nose, and more treatments — including additional chemo, MRI scans, and targeted cancer drugs — are still ahead.

But his family is struggling. Aqra’s father lost his job because of the time needed to care for him. His mother stays by his side day and night. They now have no income and no way to cover the mounting medical costs — over $83,000 USD, not including daily travel to the hospital.
