Azam has always been a devoted son. His dreams go beyond just becoming a Hafidz; he also hopes to one day bring his parents to perform Hajj, if he grows up and is blessed with sustenance. He diligently memorizes the Qur’an, praying that he can be the pillar of strength for his family and bring joy to his parents’ hearts.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Sadly, in the midst of chasing his dreams, Azam’s journey has been repeatedly struck by cruel fate. He once suffered from dengue fever, followed by a digestive infection that caused swelling of his colon and lymph nodes. He even vomited blood. Since then, his condition has worsened—but Azam refuses to give up school or stop memorizing the Qur’an. Instead, he shows unwavering acceptance, patiently enduring every trial from God.
Azam’s hardships don’t stop. He now frequently suffers from internal bleeding. His eyes are turning yellow due to Hemolytic Anemia—a condition where his red blood cells are rapidly destroyed, raising his bilirubin levels. Even more tragically, Azam has been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a rare disease that damages the bone marrow and disrupts blood cell production. As if that weren’t enough, his liver is also severely damaged.
Azam’s life is in danger if he doesn’t get a liver transplant soon. He also requires regular blood transfusions to prevent deadly infections and organ failure. But where will the money come from? Though Azam has national health insurance, it doesn’t cover all the medical and operational costs—which can reach thousands of dollars. His father, a daily farm laborer, earns very little and irregularly.
#KindSouls, only your generosity can help make a miracle happen for Azam. Let’s help him get the liver transplant and treatments he desperately needs so he can pursue his noble dream once again.
