How shattered Ms. Teresia’s heart was. Her sobs echoed along with the sounds of medical equipment piercing her child’s body.

Felisa Naisella, born in 2022, came into this world healthy and normal. Her presence was like a miracle in the lives of Ms. Teresia and Mr. Linus, who had been waiting for a daughter for 9 years.

Unfortunately, at the age of 1, Felisa began experiencing frequent difficulty in breathing. Her fingers and toes would turn blue without reason. Felisa’s cute smiles faded into cries of pain.

It turned out that Felisa was afflicted with the rare disease Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). Her heart was damaged, at risk of stopping at any moment due to a hole and leak measuring 7.6 mm wide! Besides needing long-term treatment, Felisa also required surgery to survive.

Their sorrow deepened as they realized the immense cost of treating their child! Felisa’s father was only a laborer. Despite working tirelessly for hours on end every day, his wages were insufficient to cover the hospital bills.
