Mohammad Firthause bin Hussain is a 45-year-old father of three who once worked tirelessly to provide for his family. What began as extreme fatigue, shortness of breath, and persistent chest pain was first dismissed as exhaustion from daily work. But medical tests later revealed a devastating truth—his heart artery had ruptured and become severely blocked.
Firthause was forced to undergo emergency bypass surgery and major heart vessel replacement. The operation saved his life, but it left his family drowning in debt. They are still struggling to pay an outstanding RM10,000 from the surgery, while ongoing hospital treatment costs have already exceeded RM25,000 and continue to rise.
Since falling ill, Firthause can no longer work as he once did. Today, he and his wife survive by selling small homemade snacks in front of their house, earning only about RM600 per month—far from enough to cover daily living expenses, let alone medical bills. Meanwhile, their three children still depend fully on them. Their eldest is a university student, and the two younger children are still in school.
“I just want to live long enough to see my children grow and succeed,” Firthause says quietly. “But with my condition now, I’m afraid I may leave them too soon.”
Every day, he endures chest pain, severe fatigue, and breathlessness. Even the simplest movements are exhausting. Yet, for the sake of his family, he continues to fight.
Today, we are reaching out for help. Your support can ease the burden of medical costs and give Firthause a chance to recover without constant pain and financial pressure. Any contribution, no matter the amount, can help save a father who still wants to be there for his children.
