A bitter reality struck Aris and Febi when their beloved daughter (Khadeejah) was diagnosed with liver damage. At just 7 months old, Khadeejah’s condition drastically declined, and her liver function had dropped to only 20%.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! She now needs a liver transplant and intensive follow-up care to survive. Sadly, Aris’s financial situation is worsening, while Khadeejah’s treatment and testing still require hundreds of millions of rupiah…
This all began when Febi was pregnant, Aris and Febi were really happy and prepared everything to welcome their baby girl. When she was born, they named her Khadeejah Hana Fauziah, hoping her name would be a lifelong prayer. Unfortunately, their little one is now fighting to survive a chronic illness.
The early days with baby Khadeejah were beautiful, but a few months later, Febi began noticing worrying signs. Khadeejah wasn’t gaining weight, instead, her stomach began swelling and hardening! They went from one hospital to another for checkups, until finally, when Khadeejah turned 7 months old, the devastating diagnosis came.
Their little baby was diagnosed with liver damage caused by a congenital condition. Her liver was functioning at only 20%. A liver transplant was the only hope. Aris even volunteered to donate part of his own liver to save Khadeejah.
But Khadeejah’s liver function still hasn’t returned to normal after the surgery. She needs a series of medical tests, follow-up operations, and intensive monitoring.
But where will the money come from? The transplant alone already cost them everything they had. Aris works as a factory employee with a modest income, and now he’s struggling to cover the growing hospital expenses, regular lab tests, medications, even the cost of traveling back and forth to the hospital is becoming unbearable.
