Rafa was born in January 2020, a healthy baby boy who brought endless joy to his parents, Pak Adit and his wife, Dewi. As their first and only child, Rafa completed their little family and filled their home with laughter and hope for the future.

But when Rafa turned 2 years old, everything changed. He began suffering from sudden high fevers that reached 39°C, followed by severe daily seizures. The seizures grew worse until his whole body became paralyzed, and his eyesight faded until he was nearly blind.

Doctors gave the family heartbreaking news—Rafa’s brain had been severely damaged. Without intensive treatment, his condition would only deteriorate, and his chances of survival would become even smaller. Rafa’s life now depends on round-the-clock care, medical treatment, and, above all, a miracle from God.

For his father, Pak Adit, the struggle has been overwhelming. Once a driver for an online taxi service, he was forced to sell his motorcycle just to cover initial costs. With no other choice, he turned to running a small boba drink stall, working almost 24 hours non-stop every day just to earn enough to keep Rafa’s treatment going. Despite his sacrifices, the hundreds of millions needed for hospital care, therapy, and medication remain far beyond what he can provide.

Every day, this family lives in fear of losing Rafa. And every day, Pak Adit and Dewi continue to fight with all they have, holding onto faith that their son can still be saved.
