Ride-Hailing Dads Work 25 Hours a Day to Save Their Children from Deadly Illnesses
Fundraiser
Yayasan Tangan Baik Insani is a non government organization who help people in need.

The unbearable pain continues to torment the children of these motorbike taxi (ojol) drivers.
Their fathers work tirelessly on the streets, sometimes as if they’ve been riding 25 hours a day.
Yet their modest income as riderss is still not enough to get their sick children the treatment they desperately need.

One of them is Inara Nuraiza Rugayyah Halbi, a 2-year-old girl who has been battling a serious illness since birth. But due to her father’s meagre income, she has never received proper treatment.

Inara suffers from Biliary Atresia, a severe liver disease that has caused painful rashes and open wounds all over her body, constantly oozing blood and pus.

The only way for Inara to survive is through a Kasai procedure and a liver transplant.
But the cost is extremely high, reaching hundreds of millions of rupiah, far beyond what her riders father can afford.

In his desperation, Mr Heru even sold his only motorcycle, the one he used daily to work, just to cover part of her medical expenses.
Now, he borrows his brother’s bike to continue working and earn whatever he can to save Inara’s life.

The same pain is shared by Mr Aang, another riders who works endlessly on the streets to save his daughter Sitta, who suffers from a severe eye tumor.

The tumor, left untreated due to financial struggles, has grown so large that her right eye is now bulging and on the verge of bursting.

Sitta often cries in pain, but each time she does, the pain spreads throughout her tiny body.
Even her tears are no longer clear; they’re mixed with blood.

Despite saving and sacrificing, Mr Aang’s income can barely cover daily needs.
Their small savings have long been depleted, forcing Sitta’s treatments to stop midway.

Another heartbreaking story comes from Mr Zhamul and his 2-year-old son Khaizel Esvanzilan Malik, who was born with Beta Thalassemia, a severe blood disorder that requires regular treatment to survive.

Since birth, Khaizel has never been able to move or function like other children.
His body is frail and weak; he can only lie helplessly in bed, just like a newborn.

Even after days of tirelessly searching for passengers, Mr Zhamul’s earnings are still not enough to pay for Khaizel’s treatment.
The longer the treatment is delayed, the more critical Khaizel’s condition becomes. His body stiffens, and he often suffers from severe seizures.

The struggles faced by Mr Heru, Mr Aang, and Mr Zhamul are just a few examples of the countless riders fighting every day to save their children from life-threatening diseases.

With endless effort and prayers reaching the heavens, these fathers continue to hope that Allah will send His miracle to ease the pain of Inara, Sitta, and Khaizel, and allow them to live healthy, happy lives like other children.

Let’s help these little fighters get the treatment they need.
