While most children dream of running, playing, and growing up healthy — some are forced to spend their childhoods in pain, fighting chronic illnesses they never asked for. Some were born paralyzed, others developed serious conditions like hydrocephalus, and many suffer from extreme physical and mental limitations. What’s even more heartbreaking is that many of them are unable to receive proper treatment simply because their families cannot afford it.

Many of these children can’t speak, can’t walk, and are in constant pain. Their conditions worsen over time, and their families are desperate — not for luxuries, but just enough to get the medical help their children need.
