Fauzi Akbar, a 13-year-old boy, was an active and diligent student who loved attending the mosque and participated in extracurricular activities like drum band and pencak silat. On February 14, 2025, while crossing the road to go to the mosque, Fauzi was tragically hit by a motorcycle, causing a severe head injury that led to internal bleeding in his brain.

Despite immediate first aid and medical attention, Fauzi’s condition worsened, leaving him unconscious and requiring ICU care. His family, consisting of his father, a construction worker, and his mother, a shop assistant,  have been struggling to cover the mounting hospital bills, which have already reached $1,200. Unfortunately, they cannot afford the continued treatment required to give Fauzi a chance at recovery.

Fauzi’s family, especially his mother, is heartbroken to see the once active and religious child now fighting for his life. Fauzi has always been a devout child, attending prayers at the mosque regularly and excelling in his studies. His parents are desperately trying to raise funds, including borrowing from relatives, to cover the continuing costs of his medical treatment, hoping for his full recovery and a return to his normal life.
