At 13 years old, Jones was an outstanding and high-achieving child, he even competed in the Olympiad. However, his condition began to deteriorate until he started speaking incoherently. After undergoing a medical examination, it was discovered that he had a malignant brain tumor.

“At first, the tumor was only 2.5 cm. Then he underwent surgery, but it turned out the tumor had grown to 4.7 cm. He needs to get treatment in Singapore, but we don’t have the 4,4 billion rupiah needed…” – said Jones’ mother.

This tumor is complicated because it’s located right in the brainstem. Last December, Jones had surgery, but the very next day, he suffered seizures, fever, and difficulty breathing, which led to him being admitted to the ICU. Jones started to show some improvement, but then his consciousness level dropped. He had to use a ventilator in the ICU to help him breathe. He still urgently needs chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and other treatments, but his parents have run out of money…
