Azka Faces a Life-or-Death Battle After Being Abandoned and Born with Health Issues
Fundraiser
Yayang Haryani is Azka's mother

Yayang is trying to stay strong, holding on to faith amidst heartbreak. Her life took a bitter turn when her mother-in-law began controlling every aspect of her marriage—even taking over her husband’s income. Powerless, Yayang could only endure in silence, hoping for peace in her heart. Then came the most painful blow: her husband obeyed his mother and filed for divorce.

He left without a trace, not even knowing that Yayang was pregnant with their child. Devastated and alone, she had no choice but to keep going. As her belly grew, so did her responsibilities. She became a laundry worker, scrubbing and ironing clothes every day just to survive and prepare for her baby’s birth.

But fate didn’t stop testing her. When labor struck, Yayang was alone with her 3-year-old son. With no one to help, she struggled to reach a clinic on foot, guiding her toddler along. Her baby was breech and in danger—doctors rushed her to the hospital as the baby was losing oxygen rapidly!

Instead of joyful cries, the delivery room was filled with panic. Baby Azka was born almost lifeless—his tiny body turning blue from oxygen deprivation. There was no time for mother’s embrace. Azka was rushed to the NICU, where he had to be hooked up to life support just to breathe. Without the NICU’s machines running 24/7, Azka’s organs could fail at any second. Just one moment without the tubes, and his life could slip away…

Yayang is still recovering from her C-section—the pain from the stitches is still raw. Yet every day, she continues working as a laundry helper, desperate to gather enough to cover her medical bills. The costs have now hit thousands of dollars, and she has no health insurance to help cover it.

#KindSouls, Yayang and her baby Azka need your help. Please, support this brave mother in her fight to save her child’s life.
