At just 2 years and 8 months old, little Dinda Clarissa Silalahi has been fighting a rare and life-threatening condition called Biliary Atresia, where her bile ducts are blocked or underdeveloped, causing severe liver damage.

Her journey began when she was only 1.5 months old—her skin turned yellow, her stools became pale, and her urine was dark. After many hospital visits, doctors confirmed she had Biliary Atresia. In January 2023, Dinda underwent a Kasai surgery. Sadly, within six months, the procedure failed, and now her only chance to survive is through a liver transplant.

Today, Dinda’s condition is worsening. Her little body has turned yellow, her stomach keeps swelling, and she must undergo frequent blood transfusions. Doctors have already advised the family to prepare a donor for a transplant, but the process requires huge costs that her parents simply cannot cover.

Dinda’s father, Rickhi, works as an online motorbike driver with unstable income, while her mother, Lasmaria, is a housewife. Their daily struggles are heavy—even basic needs like diapers and medical milk are hard to provide. The family had to sell their small shop and borrow money just to get Dinda to Jakarta for her first surgery.

Despite everything, Dinda is a bright little girl who continues to fight bravely. Her parents’ only hope is that she will live long enough to receive the transplant and finally have a chance at a healthy future.
