12-year-old Frisco Pardede has always been a bright, hopeful boy with dreams of becoming a soldier and faithfully attending Sunday School. But in an instant, his world was shattered. Frisco’s skin began to blister and burn, turning red and black from the unbearable pain. His body, once strong, was now ravaged by the illness. Desperate, his mother, Lidya, and father, Ricardo, rushed him from one hospital to the next, but they were turned away, unable to get the life-saving treatment Frisco so desperately needed.

Yet, the cost of treatment is overwhelming, and their savings will never be enough to save their son.
