“My poor boy… he never sleeps peacefully. One of his eyes can’t close because his nose is full of tumors. Now, he vomits blood every day,” said Mrs. Nurhaeni.

At only 11 years old, Raka lives every day in constant pain. He suffers from a malignant tumor on his face that has invaded his respiratory system and vital organs.

It began as a small lump on his nose. But within three months, the tumor grew rapidly, covering his right nostril and spreading to his right eye — leaving him blind. Now, it’s blocking his left nostril, and if left untreated, it could completely close off his airways.

Every night, Raka cries in pain, struggling to eat and often screaming in his sleep from shortness of breath and unbearable agony. Recently, he’s been vomiting blood — a sign that the disease is spreading deeper into his body.

“When he’s in pain, Raka cries out for his father… ‘Daddy… please help me…’ but his father has long gone and never returned,” said Mrs. Nurhaeni, her voice trembling.

In the midst of her son’s suffering, Raka’s father abandoned them years ago, leaving no support or contact. Now, Raka only has his mother, who fights tirelessly to save him.

To pay for treatment, Mrs. Nurhaeni borrowed money and sold household items. But now, the savings are gone, the debts have piled up, and Raka’s treatment has stopped — just as his life grows more endangered.
