At just 4 years old, Revaldo from Central Papua is battling for his life. He was diagnosed with tuberculous meningitis and hydrocephalus, which caused excess fluid in his brain. His condition often triggers seizures, and his once cheerful smile has faded under the weight of his illness.

Revaldo is now extremely frail. Tubes run through his small body, and he can no longer eat or drink on his own—everything goes through an NGT tube. His bones are clearly visible, and his parents often watch helplessly as he suffers from recurring seizures.

He was referred from Nabire to Jayapura for urgent care. But this move has come with enormous sacrifices.

Revaldo’s father is a long-distance driver with a very limited income, struggling to support six children. Now, all of their focus is on saving Revaldo—their youngest. Since they have no relatives in Jayapura, they are renting a small room for around SGD 130/month, adding to their already heavy financial burden.

Despite everything, they remain hopeful. Revaldo needs intensive treatment to recover and one day smile again like he used to.
