In the heart of Papua, children at the Generasi Emas Orphanage live in dire conditions. Their home is full of holes, with no windows or proper protection.

Every night, they sleep on worn-out mattresses, crowded together in rooms that offer no relief from mosquito bites. Yet, they never complain—only gratitude fills their hearts as they thank God for shelter, even when their own parents have abandoned them.

Their daily life is a struggle for basic needs. With only rice and instant noodles to eat, proper nutrition is scarce. They rarely get enough vegetables, let alone any protein, making them vulnerable to serious health risks.

One child was even treated in the ICU for malaria. Despite these hardships, they continue to pray with hope in their hearts, asking for blessings that would make their lives a little easier.

Generasi Emas Orphanage has been home to 25 orphaned children since 2011. Yet, without regular donations, the orphanage relies solely on faith to provide for their needs.
