At 58 years old, Mr. Cahya has applied for countless jobs—only to face rejection and even mockery because of his physical condition. Born with dwarfism, an uneven gait, and only one underdeveloped arm, he is often dismissed by society.

But instead of begging, he chose to sell tissues. “I don’t want to exploit my condition to beg. Let Allah take care of my livelihood,” he says.

Every day, he walks long distances through markets, traffic lights, and shopping areas—sweating and limping—carrying 50 packs of tissues. For every pack, he earns just $0.06. And yet, people often mistake him for a beggar. “I don’t want pity. I just hope people will buy my tissues” he says with a smile.

Mr. Cahya supports a wife and two school-aged children. Often, when his sales are low, he skips meals just so his family can eat. Now, he’s at risk of eviction from his rented home due to late payments—simply because his earnings aren’t enough.

Despite his struggles, Mr. Cahya remains a responsible and hardworking father. He doesn’t need pity—he needs a chance. Let’s stand with him and help him live with dignity and security.
